Please make sure there is enough room for the moving truck on your property. Also, allow for the loading ramp, which can be up to 16 feet in length.
If you are having your vehicle transported by way of "driveaway", please make sure it is prepared and in excellent operating condition. It is important to have a qualified professional inspect the vehicle's oil, brakes, cooling system, fluids, electrical system, etc.
Point out your fragile/special care items.
If you are doing your own packing, please make sure everything is ready before the mover's scheduled arrival time.
It's important to unplug electronic appliances in advance, so that they will cool down to room temperature by moving day. These same items should not be used for 24 hours after delivery to allow them time to adjust back to room temperature.
